Yamaha OPL3-SA Audio Driver Has No Microphone Sensitivity Switch (228371)

Microphones that require a +20 decibel amplification of the input signal to the sound card to work properly do not work with a Yamaha OPL3-SA sound card with the Windows 2000 driver. The input from the microphone is too low to be heard or recorded, and there is no way to specify this in the driver settings.
CAUSE
This functionality is not included with the Windows 2000 driver provided with Windows 2000.
RESOLUTION
To resolve this issue, obtain a driver from the manufacturer that provides this functionality.
