Laptop Display Does Not Turn On After Being Ejected from Docking Station (228336)

When you have Windows 2000 installed on a laptop computer that is docked to a full docking station with a monitor connected, the laptop display may not turn on when the laptop computer is ejected from the docking station.
CAUSE
This behavior can occur if the laptop computer does not have an Advanced Configuration and Power Interface (ACPI) BIOS. Hot docking is only supported by ACPI systems.
RESOLUTION
To work around this behavior, press F5 to refresh the laptop computer's display.
