SYMPTOMS

After you install Windows 2000, your PCTel V.90 K56 Hex HSP PNP modem may not function. The modem appears as an unknown device in Device Manager.

CAUSE

This modem requires an updated driver to work with Windows 2000.

RESOLUTION

Please contact the modem's manufacturer to inquire about obtaining an updated driver for use with Windows 2000.
