Previous Audio Drivers May Not Function After Installing IBM MWave Driver (227984)

SYMPTOMS

After you install an IBM MWave combination modem/audio driver on a computer running Windows 2000, previously installed audio drivers may not function.

CAUSE

This behavior occurs because of the installation method the third-party manufacturer uses to install the modem/audio drivers.

RESOLUTION

To resolve this issue, contact the manufacturer of the MWave modem/audio driver.
