Sophos Anti-Virus 3.16 Setup Does Not Work When Starting InterCheck Real-Time Monitor (227877)

If you attempt to install Sophos Anti-Virus version 3.16 and you have enabled the InterCheck real-time monitor, the InterCheck client causes a problem in Icntdrv.sys when the Setup program tries to start the service and the installation does not succeed.
This behavior does not occur with Sophos Anti-Virus version 3.13.
RESOLUTION
To work around this behavior, install Sophos Anti-Virus version 3.16 without the InterCheck client.
