Magnifier Utility Refresh Is Slow When in Top Window (227848)

SYMPTOMS

When you use the Windows 2000 Magnifier tool, the cursor in the top window may refresh approximately once per second.

CAUSE

This problem can occur if the "Follow mouse cursor" feature is disabled.

RESOLUTION

To work around this problem, enable the "Follow mouse cursor" feature:
  1. Click Start, point to Programs, point to Accessories, point to Accessability, and then click Magnifier.
  2. Click the Follow mouse cursor check box to select it, and then click OK.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed at the beginning of this article.
