Cannot Copy Current User Profile (227575)

When you are logged on as a user and you use the System tool to copy your current profile, you may receive the following error message:
Error Copying File
The following error has occurred:
The process cannot access the file because it is being used by another process.

CAUSE
This behavior can occur if any of the files in the profile are in use by another program. You are prompted to skip each file or terminate the process for each file that is locked by another program. If no files are in use, the profile is copied successfully.
RESOLUTION
To prevent this issue from occurring, use any of the following methods:
- Quit all running programs before copying the profile.
- Only copy user profiles for users other than the currently logged on user.
STATUSMicrosoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed at the beginning of this article.
