S3 Virge Video Problems in Jedi Knight: Dark Forces 2 (227367)

When you play Jedi Knight: Dark Forces 2 by Lucas Arts Entertainment on a computer running Windows 2000, you may have various display problems, including incorrect colors, visible raster lines, redraw oscillation, and flickering.
CAUSE
This issue can occur if you use an S3 Virge-based video adapter and you have hardware acceleration enabled.
RESOLUTION
To resolve this issue, disable hardware acceleration:
- Click Start, point to Settings, click Control Panel, and then double-click Display.
- Click the Settings tab, click Advanced, and then click the Troubleshooting tab.
- Move the Hardware Acceleration slider to the None setting (all the way to the Left), and then click OK.
- Click OK. Restart your computer when prompted.
