SYMPTOMS
When you attempt to view the properties of your CD-R or CD-RW drive in Windows Explorer, you may receive the following error message:
EXPLORER caused an invalid page fault in
module MFC42.DLL at 0177:5f40492c.
RESOLUTION
To resolve this issue, install Adaptec DirectCD 2.5d (Dcd25dup.exe).

To work around this issue, view the properties of the drive using the icon installed by DirectCD on the right side of the taskbar.
