PPT2000: Sounds Do Not Play on Web Page When Effect Is Set to No Transition (226749)

SYMPTOMS

When you select a sound for your slide transition, you do not hear a sound between slide transitions if you view your presentation as a Web page in full-screen mode.

CAUSE

This problem occurs when the slide transition effect is set to No Transition.

WORKAROUND

To work around this problem, click Slide Transition on the Slide Show menu, and select any slide transition under Effect other than No Transition.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in Microsoft PowerPoint 2000.
