PPT2000: Line Color and Shadow Do Not Appear in Internet Explorer 4.0 (226598)

SYMPTOMS

In Microsoft PowerPoint 2000, when you apply a shadow and line color to a header or footer placeholder, the effect does not appear as you would expect when you view it in Microsoft Internet Explorer.

CAUSE

This problem occurs if you are using Microsoft Internet Explorer version 4.0 or earlier. The problem does not occur with later versions of Internet Explorer.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in Microsoft PowerPoint 2000.
