If you insert a PowerPoint 2000 Web presentation into a standard presentation as an embedded object and you try to activate it either by double-clicking on it, choosing Activate Contents from the context menu, or by clicking on the icon while in slide show, you get one of the following error messages:
In either case, you will receive this first warning:
You are about to activate an inserted object that might contain viruses or otherwise be harmful to your computer.
Make sure the object if from a trustworthy source.

CAUSE
The HTML document format is not a supported OLE format. It is not designed to be inserted into another document as an HTML document.
WORKAROUNDConvert to Standard Presentation
This the recommended method for inserting a presentation into another file.
To convert to a standard presentation, follow these steps:
- Open the Web presentation in PowerPoint 2000.
- On the File menu, click Save As.
- Change the Save as Type to Presentation (*.ppt)
- Click OK.
You can now insert this standard presentation into another standard presentation as an embedded object.
