PPT2000: Bullets Overlap Text Above and Below (226583)
The information in this article applies to:
- Microsoft PowerPoint 2000
This article was previously published under Q226583 SUMMARY
When you set the bullet size to be greater than 200% for most character bullets, the bullet will overlap in front of the text and bullet above its line of text. For picture bullets of size greater than 300%, it will overlap in front of the line above and overlap behind the line of text below it.
PowerPoint does not change the line spacing when the bullet size is increased. Line space can only be increased manually, from the Format menu.
Character bullets are sized from the baseline of the text it belongs to and grow upwards. Picture bullets are sized from the center of the text line and grow upwards and downwards equally as the bullet size is increased.
