SUMMARY

When you apply preset animations to outline text in PowerPoint, the animation is always applied to the text in the body placeholder, even if the text in the Title placeholder is selected.

MORE INFORMATION

If you would like to apply a Preset Animation to a Title text area, you must select the text in Slide view, or in the slide portion of Normal view.

NOTE: If you use preset animations, you can only assign one animation to any given placeholder. If you would like to use multiple animation effects in a single placeholder, click Custom Animation, instead of Preset Animation, on the Slideshow menu .
