Personal Web Page PMADMIN Command States "Unable to Get Mapping Information" (226489)
The information in this article applies to:
- Microsoft Commercial Internet System 2.5
This article was previously published under Q226489 SYMPTOMS
When you run the PMADMIN Get Mapping command line utility to see if a membership instance is mapped, mapping information is returned in a proper concise manner if mapping exists.
If the FTP server is not mapped, it states "Unable to get mapping information" instead of stating "Service:msftpsvc; Instance:x - Not Mapped." If the command line utility returns "Unable to get mapping information," then the FTP server is not mapped to a membership instance and is free to do so with the PMADMIN set mapping command.
Personal Web Page functionality is not adversely affected by this.
STATUSMicrosoft has confirmed that this is a problem in Microsoft Commercial Internet System version 2.5.
