SYMPTOMS

When you attempt to print using Greetings 99 or Home Publishing 99, you may receive the following error message:
Printer needs adjusting!

Your printer's settings need to be changed so that it can print correctly. Try this: Use Windows guidance to adjust your printer settings, and then print again.

CAUSE

This behavior can occur if your printer driver is missing or damaged.

NOTE: You may be able to print correctly using other programs.

RESOLUTION

To resolve this issue, remove and reinstall the printer driver. To do this, follow these steps:
  1. Click Start, point to Settings, then click Printers.
  2. Right-click the printer you want to remove, and then click Delete. If you are prompted to remove files associated with the printer, click Yes.
  3. Double-click Add Printer, and then follow the instructions on your screen to install the correct printer driver for your printer.
  4. Test to see if the issue is resolved. If the issue continues to occur, contact your printer's manufacturer to obtain the latest printer driver for your printer.
