  • Microsoft Outlook 2000

This article was previously published under Q225340

SYMPTOMS

When you reply to a message while using Microsoft Word as your e-mail editor, your default text and the text in your AutoSignature, may change color.

MORE INFORMATION

To better distinguish between multiple replies in an e-mail thread, Word uses its Track Changes feature to assign a different Automatic (default) font color to each reply in the thread. This causes any text in your reply that is assigned the Automatic font color, including your AutoSignature, to change to a different color.
