When you attempt to use a Windows 2000-based computer running Gateway Services for NetWare (GSNW) or Client Services for NetWare (CSNW) to browse a NetWare Directory Services (NDS) computer (server) alias object in an NDS tree, you may receive the following error message:
\\Tree\Context is not accessible. The Network path is not found.
CAUSE
This problem can occur if the alias object has a different name than the target.
RESOLUTION
To work around this problem, install the Novell Client for Windows 2000. For information about how to obtain the Novell Client for Windows 2000, please contact Novell.
STATUSMicrosoft has confirmed that this is a problem in Microsoft Windows 2000.
