This article was previously published under Q225030 SUMMARY To print banners on continuous feed paper without any blank
space between the pages, you must adjust your printer settings to select
continuous feed paper before you start Greetings, Home Publishing, or Picture
It! Publishing. Select Continuous Feed Paper To select continuous feed paper, follow these steps:
- Quit all running programs.
- Click Start, point to Settings, and then click Printers.
- Right-click your printer, and then click Properties.
- Look for a setting that can be toggled between Cut-Sheet and Banner or Fan Fold. The location of this setting depends on the manufacturer and
model of the printer.
- Click Banner or Fan Fold, and then click OK.
- If necessary, make any required setting change on the
printer hardware. For example, you may need to move a lever on the printer to
the Banner position.
After you complete these steps, start one of the programs
listed at the beginning of this article, open your project, and then print the
banner. NOTE: As this adjustment affects printing in all Windows programs, you
need to repeat these steps to return the printer setting to Cut-Sheet when you
are finished printing the banner on continuous feed paper. MORE INFORMATION Certain printers are designed to use a custom page size to
print banners. For example, a custom page size of 8.5 x 33 inches would be used
to print a three page banner.
However, if you select a paper size
other than 8.5 x 11 inches, the printer may jam when you attempt to print a
banner. To print on banner paper from the programs listed at the beginning of
this article, the printer must support a Banner or Fan Fold setting.
NOTE: You cannot print to paper sizes other than 8.5 x 11 inches.
