Dynamic Replication of the LDAP Directory Objects May Fail (224923)
The information in this article applies to:
- Microsoft Site Server 3.0
This article was previously published under Q224923 SYMPTOMS
Dynamic replication of the LDAP directory objects may fail intermittently.
CAUSE
The version ID of the replicated objects is incorrectly incremented whenever the object time to live (TTL) is updated. This causes the version numbers on the replicate to be higher than on the source. A subsequent replication attempt from the source then fails, because the target has a higher version ID.
