OL2000: (CW) Cannot Fax PowerPoint File as an Attachment from the Fax Wizard (224853)

SYMPTOMS
When sending a fax with an attached Microsoft PowerPoint file, you receive the following error message:
PowerPoint can't print to Rendering Subsystem. It's not a valid printer type.
RESOLUTION
Print to the fax from PowerPoint.
STATUSMicrosoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed at the beginning of this article. MORE INFORMATION
This problem only occurs with the Corporate or Workgroup installation of Outlook and Microsoft At Work fax.
NOTE: Trying to fax a slide presentation as an attachment will cause the message to get stuck in the Outbox. Closing all windows and restarting Outlook will clear the Outbox. A Non Delivery Reciept (NDR) will be generated from the System Administrator with instructions to print the Powerpoint presentation to the Microsoft Fax Printer.
