OL2000: CTRL+ENTER Shortcut Does Not Send Mail When Using Word as Your Email Editor (224845)

If you are using Microsoft Word as your e-mail editor, and your cursor is in the body of the message, pressing CTRL+ENTER inserts a page break in the message rather than initiating a Send message operation.
CAUSE
When you are editing the body of a message using Word as your e-mail editor, key conbinations take on the functions of Word rather than Outlook.
RESOLUTION
Use one of the following workarounds to address this issue:
Click the Send button on the toolbar to send a message.Move your cursor to the message header before pressing CTRL+ENTER.Modify the CTRL+ENTER shortcut key combination in Word to initiate the Send operation rather than insert a page break.Do not use Word as your e-mail editor.STATUSMicrosoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed at the beginning of this article.
