WD2000: Error Message When Copying and Pasting from Expedia Streets and Trips (224650)

SYMPTOMS

When you copy and paste directions of a route that was planned in Microsoft Expedia Streets and Trips 2000 into a Word 2000 document, you receive the following error message:
A table in this document has become corrupted. To recover the content of the table: select the table and choose Convert Table To Text from the Table menu.
When you click OK, Word stops responding (hangs).

WORKAROUND

To work around this problem, follow these steps when you paste the information into Word 2000:
  1. On the Edit menu, click Paste Special.
  2. In the Paste Special dialog box, click to select Unformatted text, and then click OK.

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed at the beginning of this article.
