SYMPTOMS

The font color changes after you copy and paste a file, as an object, into a document.

WORKAROUND

To work around this problem, when you paste a file into a document, follow these steps.
  1. In Microsoft Word 2000, on the Edit menu, click Paste Special.
  2. In the Paste Special dialog box, click Microsoft Word Document Object, and then click OK.
