When you connect the Microsoft Digital Sound System 80 (DSS80) hardware
to your computer, you may be unable to hear short wave audio (.wav) files
played through the speakers.
CAUSE
This behavior can occur if the DSS80 speakers are in Standby mode.
STATUSMicrosoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft Digital Sound System 80version 1.0.
