When you end an online broadcast in Microsoft PowerPoint, you may receive the following error:
Failed to stop NetShow ASF Session

CAUSE
The presenter computer was unable to end the Advanced Streaming Format session on the NetShow server. This condition may be caused by poor network connectivity or by the manipulation of permissions or files on the NetShow server.
THINGS TO TRY
Manually end the ASF Session on the NetShow Server. To do this, follow these steps: - From the NetShow Server Start menu, point to Programs, point to NetShow Services, and then click NetShow Administrator.
- Click Multicast Stations in the left pane.
- In the Multicast ASF Programs and Streams pane, locate the Online Broadcast program. This program stream will begin with the user name of the presenter, followed by the name of the broadcast folder where audience members go to access the presentation. (For example, JoeUserbroadcast19990424092042). Click to select the proper listing.
- Press Delete on your keyboard.
- Click OK at the Do you want to delete the selected program? prompt.
