Streets and Trips 2000 Err Msg: The Selected Area Is Too Large, Please Select a Smaller Area (224234)

When you select an area of the map in Microsoft Expedia Streets and
Trips 2000, right-click inside the selected area, and then click Create
Map For Pocket Streets, you may receive the following error message:
The selected area is too large, please select a smaller area.
CAUSE
This behavior can occur if the area of the map you selected is too large
to be exported to Microsoft Pocket Automap Streets.
RESOLUTION
To prevent this issue from occurring, select a smaller area of the map to
export to Pocket Automap Streets.
