When you click Find Now in the Find dialog box you receive
the following error message:
An internal error occurred while searching File name.
where File name is the name of a file that would meet your search criteria. Locate the file that appears in the error message. Using Windows
Explorer, move the file to a drive or folder that you are not searching.
To move a file, follow these steps:
- Click Start, point to Programs, and click Windows Explorer.
- Navigate to the folder containing the damaged Office document and click to select the file to be moved.
- On the Edit menu, click Cut.
- Navigate to a drive or folder that you are not searching. On the Edit menu, click Paste.
