OL2000: Outlook Today Does Not Displays Customized Message Folders (223592)

SYMPTOMS

When you view Outlook Today, message folders that you have added through a customization page may not display.

CAUSE

This behavior occurs because the message folders that you added to Outlook Today may have been renamed.

RESOLUTION

Use one of the following methods to resolve this behavior:
  • Rename the Folder to Its Original Name.

    -or-

  • Add the Newly Named Folder to Outlook Today.

How to Rename the Folder to Its Original name

  1. Right-click the renamed folder, and then click Rename.
  2. Type the original folder name.

How to Add the Newly Named Folder to Outlook Today

  1. Click Outlook Today.
  2. Click Customize Outlook Today.
  3. Click Choose Folders.
  4. Click to select the check box for the newly named folder, and then click OK.
  5. Click Save Changes.
