OL2000: Web Toolbar Back Button Does Not Work with Outlook Folders (223541)

SYMPTOMS

If you start Outlook with the Inbox open and then select one of your favorites, you cannot use the Back button on the Web toolbar to navigate back to your Inbox folder.

CAUSE

The Web toolbar Back and Forward buttons only work with Web views. They do not work with Outlook folders.

RESOLUTION

Use the Outlook Bar or the Folder List to navigate Outlook folders. Use the Web toolbar to navigate Web sites. You can also use the View menu, point to Go To and then click to select a default Outlook folder.
