IntelliPoint: Mouse Pointer Freezes Briefly and Leaves Image on Desktop (223037)

SYMPTOMS

When you enable the Visibility feature in the Microsoft IntelliPoint software version 1.1d, your mouse pointer may briefly freeze and then leave an image of the pointer on the desktop when you move your pointing device.

CAUSE

This behavior can occur if the following conditions are true:

  • You installed the IntelliPoint software version 1.1d on a computer running Microsoft Windows for Workgroups, version 3.11.
  • You upgraded your Windows for Workgroups-based computer to Microsoft Windows 95.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in the Microsoft IntelliPoint software version 1.1.
