PRJ: Error Message "Setup could not read from the file C:\prj98inv.dll" (222979)

When you install Microsoft Project 98, you may receive the following error message:
Setup could not read from the file <drive letter>:\prj98inv.dll"
If you click OK on this error message, you may receive same error message for multiple system files that Microsoft Project installs.
CAUSE
This error message may occur if an antivirus program is running on the computer at the time that you install Microsoft Project.
WORKAROUND
To work around this problem, turn off the antivirus program and run Microsoft Project Setup.
STATUSMicrosoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed at the beginning of this article.
