SYMPTOMS

During the installation of Site Server, the following error is received:
Error:
[Windows Scripting Host]
Failed to initialize replication server
Error number C0003B02 (-1073726718) string=server <computername> is available, but Site Server Content Deployment Service is not running.

WORKAROUND

If the computer that you are installing Site Server on has multiple network adapter cards, do the following:
  1. Remove all but one network card.
  2. Install Site Server.
  3. Re-install the network card(s) and driver(s).
