Table Background Images Are Not Downloaded Using Content Deployment to PULL HTTP Content (222533)
The information in this article applies to:
- Microsoft Site Server 3.0
This article was previously published under Q222533 SYMPTOMS
When you use Site Server Content Deployment to pull HTTP content from an HTTP site, table background images are not downloaded.
CAUSE
This is by design. Site Server Content Deployment HTTP-pull replication uses the HTTP 1.0 protocol specification.
Table backgrounds are part of the HTTP 1.1 protocol specification. Therefore, they will not be parsed by the HTTP pull replication and downloaded.
WORKAROUND
As a workaround for pull replication (if the native Site Server Content Deployment service can not be used), pull using the FTP protocol instead of HTTP. By doing this, you will get all of the exact files, code, images, and so on.
