OL2000: Cut, Copy and Paste Commands Don't Work on Custom Form (222477)

SYMPTOMS

The Cut, Copy, and Paste commands do not work when you select them from the menu of an item that is based on a custom form.

CAUSE

This problem may occur when you have customized one of the default pages of the form.

RESOLUTION

To work around this problem, use the following shortcut keys instead of selecting the commands from the menu:

   Command    Keystroke
   --------------------
   Cut        CTRL+X
   Copy       CTRL+C
   Paste      CTRL+V

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed at the beginning of this article.

MORE INFORMATION

If the commands no longer work, there is no way to make them work again other than to start with a new custom form and not customize the default page.
