SYMPTOMS

After editing a "one-off" entry in your distribution list, (DL) you notice that the properties have been switched with another entry in the distribution list.

RESOLUTION

Open the distribution list and click Update Now.

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed at the beginning of this article.

You can to create a DL that includes contacts from any contact list in your personal folders, mailboxes, and one-off addresses. A one-off address does not exist in any address book. To create a one-off entry in the DL, click Add New, type in the address information, and click OK. If you do not click to select Add to Contacts check box, the address will reside only in the DL.
