SYMPTOMS
When you attempt to import addresses from Internet e-mail programs, such as Eudora, to the Personal Address Book (PAB) using the Outlook Import/Export Wizard, the addresses are placed in Contacts instead of the PAB.
CAUSE
This behavior occurs when your profile has the Outlook Address Book selected as the primary address source.
RESOLUTION
To import to the Personal Address Book, make the PAB the primary address source. To do this, follow these steps: - On the Tools menu, click Services and click the Addressing tab.
- In the Keep personal addresses in list, click Personal Address Book.
- Click OK and then quit Outlook.
After restarting Outlook, run the Import/Export Wizard to import the Eudora addresses.
