SYMPTOMS

If you print your calendar using the Monthly Style and the Layout setting, "2 pages/month," the printed calendar is improperly formatted. Days of the month may not be in the correct order.

CAUSE

This problem occurs under the following conditions:
  • Your calendar work week starts with a day other than Sunday or Monday.
  • You print using the Monthly Style.
  • In Page Setup, you choose the Layout setting "2 pages/month."
  • You chose the default setting to print weekends.

RESOLUTION

Either print one page per month, or change the starting day of your work week to Sunday or Monday. You can also eliminate this problem by selecting "Don't Print Weekends"; however, if your work week includes Saturday or Sunday this is not a viable option.

To Print One Page Per Month

  1. On the File menu, click Print.
  2. In Print style, click Monthly Style, and then click Page Setup.
  3. In the Layout list, click 1 page/month, and then click OK and OK.

To Change the Starting Day of Your Work Week

  1. On the Tools menu, click Options.
  2. On the Preferences tab, click Calendar Options
  3. In the First day of week list, click Sunday or Monday, and then click OK and OK.

To Not Print Weekends

  1. On the File menu, click Print.
  2. In Print style, click Monthly Style, and then click Page Setup.
  3. Click to select the Don't Print Weekends check box.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed at the beginning of this article.
