OL2000: Problem Printing Calendar Details on Small Paper (222325)

SYMPTOMS

When you print your calendar in Calendar Details Style on a small paper size, the appointment text may shift to a small column on the right side of the printout. A long text entry may even overflow to the next page.

RESOLUTION

Change the Appointments font to a smaller size, and set the left and right margins to a smaller value.

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed at the beginning of this article.

The paper sizes that exhibit this problem are Pocket, 1/8 Sheet, and Day-Timer Junior Pocket.

To Change the Font and Margins

  1. In the Calendar folder, on the File menu, click Print.
  2. In Print style, click to select Calendar Details Style, and then click Page Setup.
  3. On the Format tab, next to Appointments, click Font.
  4. The default font size is 8 point. In the Size field, type a smaller size value such as 4 or 6, and then click OK.
  5. On the Paper tab, in the Page Size list, click to select Pocket, 1/8 Sheet, or Day-Timer Junior Pocket.
  6. In the Margins section, type .25 in the Left and Right value fields.
