This article was previously published under Q222309 SYMPTOMS After using the Net Folders feature with Microsoft Outlook 98, you
upgrade to Microsoft Outlook 2000. Although you find that the Sharing command is available on the File menu, updates to previously shared items are not occurring.
CAUSE Net Folders is installed on-demand in Outlook 2000. This
means that the software necessary to use the feature will be installed the
first time you attempt to use it. RESOLUTION Either run the Windows Installer to add Net Folders with
Microsoft Office 2000 Maintenance Mode, or attempt a Net Folders operation to
install on demand. STATUSMicrosoft
has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed
at the beginning of this article.
