OL2000: No Option to Insert a File as a Shortcut (222263)

When you click File on the the Insert menu in an HTML or Plain Text message, you have no option to insert a shortcut to the file.
RESOLUTION
To insert a shortcut to a file, send the message in Microsoft Outlook Rich Text format (RTF).

This same condition is true when sending e-mail from other Microsoft Office programs such as Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel.
