When you play Microsoft Combat Flight Simulator, your computer may stop
responding (hang) when your airplane crashes or when you press X to
continue to the next action sequence.
CAUSE
This behavior can occur if either of the following conditions are true:
- Microsoft DirectX files are missing or damaged.
- The file versions of the DirectX files installed on your computer
are mismatched.
RESOLUTION
To resolve this issue, download and install the latest version of
DirectX from the following Microsoft Web site:
If the latest version of DirectX is already installed on your computer,
you may need to reinstall DirectX.
