SYMPTOMS

When you attempt to run Help in Corel Quattro Pro 8 or later, while Help is running in a Microsoft Office 97 program, you may receive one of the following error messages depending on your operating system.

Microsoft Windows 95 or Windows 98:
WINHLP32 caused an invalid page fault in module WINHLP32.EXE at 0177:0041ad88.
Microsoft Windows NT:
WINHLP32.EXE Application Error
The instruction at "0x02fff3e5" referenced memory at "0x0000000e".
The memory could not be "read". Click on OK to terminate the application.

CAUSE

This problem may occur when you attempt to run Help in Quattro Pro while Help is running in an Office program.

RESOLUTION

Windows NT Server or Workstation 4.0

To resolve this problem, obtain the latest service pack for Windows NT 4.0. For additional information, click the following article number to view the article in the Microsoft Knowledge Base:

To work around this problem, close Help in the Office program before starting Help in Quattro Pro.

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed at the beginning of this article. This problem was first corrected in Windows NT Server version 4.0, Terminal Server Edition Service Pack 6.
