OFF2000: Error Copying Item When Office Clipboard Is Out of Memory (221461)

When you copy an item in any of the Office 2000 programs, you may receive the following error message
This item was not copied because the Office Clipboard is full. To free space on the Clipboard, paste the items where you want them, and then click Clear Clipboard on the Clipboard toolbar.
and Office does not copy the selected item to the Clipboard.
CAUSE
This problem occurs when the Office Clipboard is enabled and you copy an item that would cause the Office Clipboard to exceed four megabytes (MB) of random access memory (RAM). The Office Clipboard is limited to four MB of RAM.
WORKAROUND
To work around the problem, use either of the following methods.
Method 1: Clear the Office Clipboard
Click the Clear Clipboard button on the Clipboard toolbar. This removes all previously copied items from the Office Clipboard. Method 2: Close the Office Clipboard
Follow these steps:
- Close the Clipboard toolbar.
- Copy the item that you tried to copy previously.
The item is copied to the Windows Clipboard.
