Windows CE Cannot Make IMAP4 Connection (221217)

When you are configuring a Windows CE-based device to connect to an Internet Message Access Protocol 4 (IMAP4) server, you may receive the following error message:
Can't connect to service. Unable to connect to server. Please check configuration details relating to server name and try again later. If problem persists, contact your Network Administrator.
CAUSE
This error message can occur if the Simple Mail Transport Protocol (SMTP) host for sending e-mail is not specified in the properties of the IMAP4 service.
RESOLUTION
Even though this value is marked as being optional, you must specify the SMTP host to connect to the IMAP4 server.
