SYMPTOMS

After you click the minus sign (-) next to an e-mail account to close the folder list, the folder list may reopen.

CAUSE

This behavior occurs if the "Automatically display folders with unread messages" setting is selected.

RESOLUTION

To resolve this issue:
  1. On the Tools menu, click Options.
  2. On the General tab, click to clear the Automatically display folders with unread messages check box.
  3. Click OK.
