No E-mail Notification When a Web Page Changes (221139)

If you customize a schedule for a Web site that you have selected for offline viewing and you enable the option to receive e-mail notification when the page changes, you may not receive any e-mail notification when the page changes.
CAUSE
You may receive no e-mail notification when the Web page changes for any of the following reason:
- You have configured the e-mail notification to use a non-SMTP mail server such as Hotmail.
- You have specified an invalid SMTP server.
RESOLUTION
To resolve this issue, check the SMTP configuration information or specify a valid SMTP server. To check your SMTP configuration:
- Start Internet Explorer 5.
- On the Favorites menu, click Organize Favorites.
- Click the site that you selected to view offline, and then click Properties.
- Click the Download tab. The When this page changes, send e-mail to section contains the SMTP configuration information.
If you are unsure of your SMTP mail server address, contact your administrator or Internet service provider (ISP).
