OFF2000: Changing the Installation State of a Feature May Change the Installation State of Other Features (220708)

When you change the installation state of a feature, the installation state of other features are unexpectedly changed.
For example, if you change the installation state of Microsoft Excel Help to Run from My Computer, then the installation state of Add-ins and Microsoft Map are also changed to Run from My Computer.
CAUSE
For all of the features listed later in this article, Not Available is not an installation state that can be directly set in the Microsoft Office 2000: Selecting Features dialog box. These features can be indirectly set to Not Available by setting the installation state of the parent program to Not Available.
STATUSMicrosoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed at the beginning of this article.
