WD2000: Modified Toolbar in a Document Template Is Not Restored As Expected (220633)

SYMPTOMS

In Microsoft Word 2000, when you attempt to reset a modified toolbar in a document template, the default toolbar is not restored as expected.

WORKAROUND

To successfully reset a toolbar, follow these steps:
  1. Expand the More Buttons control on the toolbar, and then click Add or Remove Buttons.
  2. Click Customize, and then on the Toolbars tab, click Reset.
  3. In the Reset Toolbar dialog box, click Normal, and then click OK.
  4. In the Customize dialog box, click Close.
