WD2000: Unexpected Behavior When You Print a Document Containing Graphics (220570)

When you attempt to print a document that contains graphics, the following behavior may occur:
- Word appears to stop responding (hang).
-or- - Word takes a long time to print the document.
CAUSE
This behavior can occur when you print your graphics document to a Hewlett-Packard (HP) 4500 series Postscript printer on Microsoft Windows 95 or Microsoft Windows 98.
WORKAROUND
To work around this issue, print your graphics document to a Printer Command Language (PCL) non-PostScript printer.
STATUSMicrosoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed at the beginning of this article.
